Courtney and Ron Lunan approached us to help formalize their vision for a stylish, high-end mobile coffee truck. Armed with a strong brand identity by Braizen, we walked them through a design process that included multiple exercises meant to clarify their aspirations for their fledgling business.
The resulting Lucky Lab Coffee truck occupies a modified and revamped step van. The truck opens on two sides to provide an outdoor café ambiance enhanced by interior finishes that feel more brick-and-mortar than mobile: custom steel-and-wood cabinetry, industrial cage and gooseneck lighting, a reclaimed-wood awning system, and custom automotive-grade wall covering by Abnormals Anonymous with Lucky Lab’s signature icons.
We resolved technical issues while adding a feeling of warmth and hospitality.
The design is particular to the brand and identifiable enough to scale.
